Strengthen Straighten Muscles Knots

Our first reaction to feeling emotionally stressed or physically stressed is an increase in muscle tension and an increase in your general body tension.

“Knots” develop mainly from over shortened muscle fibers that overlap. The overlapped muscle fiber segments stick together in a “plastic wrap/ saran wrap” fashion, enabling an adhesion. Further shortening of the muscle adds to the adhesion resulting in a small mass of entangled muscle fibers we call “KNOTS”.

When these “KNOTS”, mainly called “TRIGGER POINTS”, refer pain to different areas of the body, they are referred to as “ACTIVE TRIGGER POINTS”. When no pain signals are referred, these knots are called “LATENT TRIGGER POINTS”, if further irritated, can become active.

Now, regardless of the type, trigger points are a nuisance. Further shortening or shocking of any muscle can result in “Muscle Spasm”. Spasm is the body’s protective reflex.
